About This Blog

Alzheimer's is a journey and because it affects people, every journey is different. In 2007, I began a very unique Alzheimer's journey with my mother, Mary Jo McClerren, and my aunt, Fern Ellebrecht, whom I affectionately call, "the girls". This blog is about my experiences with these two incredible women who have taught me the meaning of love, commitment, patience and above all grace. Welcome to my world....one that will make you laugh, ponder, relate and maybe even cry.
